ACCOUNT MANAGER: MILK AND HONEY CIDERS

Account Manager

Reports to: Wholesale Director

Milk & Honey Ciders produces fine American cider from heirloom and traditional cider apple cultivars. Our farmhouse cidery and orchard focuses on interesting, dry, highly aromatic and tannic ciders made with minimal intervention. Founded in 2011, we are a vertically integrated company that includes orcharding, manufacturing, distribution, and operating a retail taproom. We take pride in making and celebrating this historically and culturally important beverage.

The Account Manager is responsible for:

  • Recruiting and retaining wholesale restaurant, bar and liquor store clients

  • Promoting cider education and culture through events, both internal (tours and taproom events) and external (festivals, liquor store tastings, and cider dinners)

  • Positively representing Milk & Honey Ciders values and ethos

  • Working in collaboration with the Wholesale Director and Production Team to communicate market insight and develop products

  • Developing and adhering to an account visitation schedule and anticipating the needs of accounts (includes occasional nights and weekends)

  • Communicating with Wholesale Director on a daily basis regarding progress, trends, and ideas that drive business development; including keeping a log of activities and progress towards goals

  • Being professional, ethical, and honest in all dealings

Qualifications and requirements:

  • Self-driven, responsible and creative individual

  • Ability to service a sales territory that includes the Twin Cities metro area and Saint Cloud. Occasional travel to greater Minnesota possible.

  • Knowledge of Quickbooks, Excel, and Google Drive software suite

  • Sales experience (previous craft beverage experience is not required)

  • Reliable vehicle with valid insurance and clean driving record

  • Strong communications skills

  • Ability to set and adhere to own schedule
