Promotions and Events Coordinator: Lift Bridge Brewery

Description:  Responsible for the development and execution of all events in the taproom and brewery.

Required Skills Include:

  • 2-5 years experience with Event Management / Party Planning

  • Google/Microsoft Office Suite user

  • Familiar with CRM programs

  • Familiar with POS systems

  • Experience building budgets and reporting P&L information

  • High level communication skills

  • Outgoing personality and eye for detail, customer focused

Specific responsibilities include:

  • Create, Update, and execute cloud-based ticket purchasing programs

  • Update Event Calendar on with all necessary details and links

  • Utilize all event booking and prospecting through cloud-based management program

  • Development and Implementation of New Private Event opportunities within the brewery

  • Special Event Printed Material coordination with Marketing Team to execute posters, flyers, handouts, etc. as needed.

  • Communicate directly with the public for pitching, booking and arranging the details of specific private events.

  • Solicit businesses and organizations directly for booking private events at the brewery

  • Design and execute dcor in the taproom and event space periodically

  • Develop and supervise implementation of holiday/special date promotions for the taproom

  • Assist with "high profile" client gatherings when necessary

  • Input all necessary information into Gather cloud based CRM for private events and clientele

  • Any additional tasks proposed by owners/management

  • Maintain Event resources racks / storage areas and inventory.

  • Manage staff for Events as necessary. Work with Taproom Manager and Beer Ambassador Coordinator for staffing needs for larger events.

  • Work with the Marketing Team and Sales Team to make sure all tastings, festivals and events are being communicated and executed successfully.

  • Attend educational seminars and training sessions about beer, also potentially taking online courses, such as Cicerone training program.

  • Attend alcohol awareness training for safe service certification yearly.

  • $18 per hour base pay

  • Customer Tips available when providing direct service to customers for events.

  • 32-40 hrs / wk Full Time Employment, including evenings and weekends as necessary for managing events.
