Sales Account Manager: 612Brew


This fun and exciting position implements 612Brew’s on and off-premise strategy against a specific list of targeted accounts within the Twin Cities Metro Area. Charged with increasing the availability and visibility of 612Brew brands, the Account Manager should help to grow 612Brew’s volume, presence and influence in the marketplace. As a 612Brew brand expert, the Account Manager is the authority on product knowledge, brand positioning and programming in the growing craft beer market.

Beer Experience Necessary

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Becoming the face of 612Brew at all accounts and functions.

  • Introduction and growth of the 612Brew brand to new and outdated or unfamiliar customers.

  • Maintain and develop relationships with key staff, management and owners in our presently buying accounts as well as newly acclaimed accounts.

  • Work closely with distribution representatives on a weekly basis to achieve sales goals and search out new sales opportunities

  • Be comfortable with Cold-Calling techniques in accounts in order to determine new opportunities for sale throughout the market

  • Create organized plans quarterly to determine areas of focus and sales goals for that quarter.

  • Meet and exceed specific sales goals and key performance indicators while also maintaining existing accounts and present sales averages.

  • Conduct regular pre-shift training and educational opportunities with front of house staff and bartenders at key accounts to help increase velocity of 612Brew brands.

  • Execute several special events, festivals, and programs including, but not limited to: Designing and executing beer dinners, release parties and tap takeovers at on-premise accounts, working key off-premises tastings at local retailers, Attending festivals and other featured events for 612Brew.

  • Set-up and breakdown events including all event equipment and display materials, registration prior to, scheduling and maintenance

  • Create effective and impactful marketing and promotional materials based on the 612Brew style guidelines.

  • Manage all large sampling events including Beer Dabblers, Festivals and large tastings.

  • Manage a team of Brand ambassadors including scheduling monthly for samplings and tasting events, providing details and materials for their events, recording their daily sales and handling payroll bi-weekly for those employees.

  • Handle Beer Marketing with local news outlets and social media influencers including email and social media correspondence, beer drops, and tasting events.

  • Create promotions for our brand monthly and key on-premise accounts.

  • Work Closely with the brewers/production to create and evaluate sales forecasts and determine appropriate production amounts weekly.

DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Outgoing and positive attitudes are a must. Let’s not forget, this is a fun industry!

  • Strong knowledge of the local craft beer industry, local restaurants and local consumers.

  • Sales experience (restaurant industry a plus!) (Beer Industry a double plus!)

  • Action oriented and self-starter

  • Strong communication, training and interpersonal skills

  • Cold calling skills a must

  • Strong Organizational and administrative skills with basic understanding of Word and Excel

Requirements:

  • Must hold a clean and valid drivers license

  • Must be able to drive long distances regularly

  • Lift 35 lb. Cases, 165 lb. kegs

  • Must be able to work outside of regular business hours which will include nights and weekends
