Marketing Assistant: Craft Notes
Craft Notes (Social Club and Drink Passport) is looking for a social, energetic, and personable event coordinator to join our team.
Craft Notes is a rapidly growling local Twin Cities startup with a mission to support the best local businesses. Our goal is to tell the story (through art and photography) of the best purveyors of local culture with a focus in the brewery/distillery/drinks world.
**Please Note: Current offer is for 20-30 hours per week contract. It’s our hope that this will turn into a full time position for the right person as budget becomes available.
Your job will be nearly 100% people-focused, whether it’s building and fostering relationships with current accounts (mostly bars and distilleries) or making friends and expanding our reach and influence with social groups (like running, music, biking, and drinking clubs).
It’s absolutely crucial that you have a high self esteem, love meeting new people, and can quickly and easily bond with people as well as be organized with an attention to detail.
Being successful in this roll means being able to juggle multiple projects at once all while maintaining personal relationships with staff and customers.
Also, because we work with a lot of customers in food and alcohol, it’s important that you can ‘handle’ yourself and maintain professionalism in a fun-fueled work environment.
Your job will include, but not limited to:
Hiring, training, and scheduling people that will help you in your role
Planning, coordinating, and hosting events
Working directly with customers and partners
Taking pictures and helping tell a story of what we do through social media
Drafting proposals and following up to ensure parties are doing what was required
Maintaining work logs and building systems and automations to make your job more efficient
Ideal candidates include anyone with:
Events Experience; planning and coordination and/or marketing
Promotions experience; guerilla or tabling
Restaurant/Brewery Industry Experience (bartenders or managers looking for more day work)
Sales or Marketing Experience
Additional Skills Preferred
Writing, blogging, and or creative writing
Social media skills (especially instagram/photography)
Strong organizational skills.
Google software and CRM experience
Light photoshop skills

Salary: $11.00 to $18.00 /hour
Event Marketing: 2 years (Preferred)
Social Media Marketing: 2 years (Required)
Customer Relationship Management: 2 years (Preferred)
Promotions or Marketing: 1 year (Required)
