Beertender: 56 Brewing


Job Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Executing the duties and responsibilities assigned

  • Maintaining a clean bar and taproom area

  • Maintaining a pleasant taproom environment (temperature, music, conduct)

  • Following the SOPs governing taproom operations

  • Enforce regulations set forth by alcoholic beverage commission (Checking IDs, stopping overconsumption, Alcohol Service Certified)

  • Adhering to the schedule set forth by the taproom lead

  • Communicate the 56 Brewing philosophy and mission in actions and attitude.

  • Working offsite at Beer Tastings and Events scheduled for 56 Brewing.

Qualifications for Position

  • Availability to work nights, weekends.

  • Prior Bartending experience preferred.

  • Good knowledge of craft beer and the production of craft beer.

  • Cicerone beer server certification preferred.

  • Positive attitude and excellent communication and customer service skills.

  • Ability to operate POS system and other web-based software.

  • Ability to lift 30-50lbs and move full kegs with use of hand truck.

  • Willingness to learn the mechanics of the taproom equipment.
